Arteta: Depay could become Arsenal star

According to a recent report from Le10Sport, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta believes Lyon star Memphis Depay could become a real star at the Emirates.

It has been reported in the last few days that the Gunners are looking into the possibility of making a move for Depay during the summer transfer window, in what is shaping up to be an incredibly busy few months for the Spaniard.

Whether or not Depay would entertain another move to the Premier League is a different matter altogether, given how much of a disappointment his time with Manchester United was.

Depay has been able to reinvent his career during his tenure in Ligue 1 with Lille, but again, that doesn’t mean he’s guaranteed to succeed with Arsenal.

If both parties are serious about the possibility of this move becoming a reality, both Arteta and Depay will have to work incredibly hard to get the best out of him.
