“We cannot answer yet, the deal is not finalised. You all know we’ve been following him for a long time and we hope we can get it done.
“Everything is okay when the deal is signed and medical complete. Sometimes the final stages aren’t as easy as it looks but we are pretty positive we can do it. He is the right profile for our squad.”
As told by Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta himself, Gabriel Magalhaes’ move from Lille to Arsenal has not yet been finalised.
The defender is set to make his way over to the Emirates from the Ligue 1 side in a deal that has been in the making for what feels like months now. Arsenal are in need of some defensive reinforcements prior to the new campaign getting underway, and he certainly seems to fit the bill nicely with the Community Shield coming up in a matter of days.
