(GSM) – Ivorian striker Aruna Dindane is set to continue his career in the Qatari top flight.

The 29-year-old joins Lekhwiya after a one-year loan spell at relegated Premiership side Portsmouth.

Dindane’s season was marred by financial differences between Portsmouth and the club that owned the player’s rights, French side Lens.

The African came to Europe in 2000 to spend the next five season at RSC Anderlecht in Belgium. In 2005, he made a move to Lens.
