French Ligue 1 side AS Monaco lock horns with Swiss outfit Young Boys in the first leg of their Champions League qualifier. Despite being the away side, the principality are big favourites to come out on top, with their squad of players being superior to that of the hosts, as well as their form in the last 12 months.

Striker Lacina Traore is sure to be a real threat in attack for Monaco, while a midfield featuring the likes of new-boy Stephan El Shaarawy and Nabil Dirar. Last season, Monaco ended the season in fantastic form, grinding out narrow victories in both the domestic league and Europe, and their away form was particularly impressive.

Young Boys will provide some resistance, however, with the Swiss Super League boasting a strong attack. Guillaume Hoarau is their biggest threat, but they have the creative new arrival Miralem Sulejmani who will be eager to impress. Nevertheless, Monaco are the team to beat in tonight’s qualifier, and William Hill are giving odds of 1/1 for the French side to win the first leg.
