AS Monaco welcome Borussia Dortmund to the Stade Louis II in the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final clash on Wednesday night, and could well see past the German Bundesliga giants to book their place in the final four given they won the first leg at the Westfalenstadion. And with the two sides so attack-heavy, goals should ensue.
Monaco booked their place in the knockouts after impressively finishing top of Group E with 11 points despite having Tottenham Hotspur for company. The French Ligue 1 leaders then shocked fans around the world after beating Manchester City over two legs in the last-16. They come into Wednesday’s clash off the back of 10 wins from their last 11 games in all competitions too.
As for the visitors, Borussia Dortmund come into the second leg off the back of poor form. Thomas Tuchel’s side have suffered two defeats and a draw in their last five games in all competitions, and have won just two away games since January. As a result, Bet 365 are giving odds of 1/1 for Monaco to win against Dortmund on Wednesday.
