Competition: French Ligue 1
Market: Monaco to win against Strasbourg
Odds: 2/9 @ Bet 365

AS Monaco welcome RC Strasbourg Alsace to the Stade Louis II in the French Ligue 1 on Saturday afternoon, and are big favourites to come out on top given how well they’ve started the campaign compared to the struggling visitors. Monaco could go level on points with leaders Paris Saint-Germain with a win this weekend, and will fancy their chances with how poor Strasbourg have been in 2017/18.

As for the hosts, Leonardo Jardim’s Monaco side are currently second in the French Ligue 1 table with 12 points from five games this season, having beaten Toulouse, Dijon, Metz and Olympique Marseille before losing to OGC Nice. Monaco have a 100% record from their two home games this season, which is bad news for a travel-sick Strasbourg.

As for the visitors, Thierry Laurey’s are 16 places and eight points worse off than Monaco in the division, having lost their last two games too. Away from home, Strasbourg have picked up just one point from a possible nine, and Bet 365 are giving odds of 2/9 for Monaco to win against Strasbourg this weekend as a result.
