French giants AS Monaco are on the verge of completing a deal for Paris Saint-Germain full-back Gregory van der Wiel, according to Le 10 Sport.
The Dutch defender recently suggested he was hoping to leave the Saints at the end of the season having been disappointed by the lack of playing time.
Van der Wiel will also be out of contract in the summer, meaning that he is free to negotiate a Bosman deal with interested sides.
According to reports from France, the 28-year-old has been in advanced talks with AS Monaco and an agreement on a three-year contract appears on the cards,
The Principality club seem ready to cash in on right-sided defender Fabinho in the summer and they plan to replace him with Gregory van der Wiel.
Monaco boast a two-point advantage over their rivals for the final Champions League berth and they have been made 1/2 favourites to defeat Guingamp next weekend.
