Having rejected a €75 million offer for their star player this season Kylian Mbappe from Premier League giants Liverpool, AS Monaco have moved on to announce the talented 18-year-old French forward will not be sold this summer by any circumstances.
Mbappe has emerged as one of the hottest commodities in European football thanks to his dazzling performances for the French champions and his formidable exploits have turned plenty of heads across the continent.
Liverpool wanted to cut the line behind Mbappe and try to lure the youngster to Anfield with a whopping offer, but AS Monaco claim it is a ‘top priority’ to keep the teenager instead of cashing in on his increasing value.
“Our priorities are to keep Mbappe. All the ingredients for him to stay are here”, AS Monaco vicepresident and CEO Vadim Vasilyev told CNN.
Flamboyant forward has been earning rave reviews this season with 26 goals scored and 14 assists recorded in all competitions for AS Monaco.
