AS Monaco targeting Serbian centre-back

AS Monaco could be getting a new young centre-back in January 2020. According to media in Serbia, Partizan Belgrade’s Strahinja Pavlovic could be making a move to France once the upcoming transfer window opens. Pavlovic is 18 years old and his position is centre-back, but this potential transfer would be a surprise in terms of the transfer fee.

Media in Serbia are claiming that AS Monaco would be ready to pay as much as 10 million euros for the player born in 2001, just six months after his move to Juventus fell through for 50 per cent of that sum. It was in the summer when Pavlovic was not only linked with a move to Turin, but was also very close to completing it in a deal worth around five million euros.

Fine performances in Europa League and the fact that he is still a teenager could help his cause for making a move to Ligue 1.
