Giallorossi sporting director Monchi is known as a transfer guru and a man who has a particular eye for talent.
Spanish side Sevilla have benefited greatly from his work over the previous years and Monchi now looks to make a similar impression in Rome. The Giallorossi official is scouring the European continent in search for the best possible talent.
Having already brought Cengiz Under who is making plenty of waves with his impressive performances this season, Monchi is now believed to have turned his attention to Manchester City youngster Manu Garcia.
The 20-year-old Spanish midfielder is playing on loan at NAC Breda, where he’s been turning plenty of heads with his commanding displays.
Along with fellow Citizens Angelino and Thierry Ambrose, Manu Garcia helped NAC Breda achieve promotion to Dutch top-tier last season whereas he still remains one of the key performers this term as Breda fights to avoid relegation.
The January Eredivisie Team of the Month member has caught the eye of many of Europe’s top clubs, including AS Roma who are, the Italian media claim, working on a possible summer deal for the Spanish starlet.
