AS Roma bid for Ante Coric

Il Corriere dello Sport claims that AS Roma are hot on the trail of Dinamo Zagreb midfielder Ante Coric.

The 20-year-old has largely impressed after joining as a youngster from Red Bull Salzburg and he already has 3 Croatia caps to his name.

Coric was reportedly close to joining Liverpool in the summer of 2016, while he has now emerged as a target for AS Roma.

According to reports, the Giallorossi recently submitted a €12 million proposal for the central midfielder.

AS Roma transfer guru Monchi hopes to wrap up the deal quickly before other interested sides such as Tottenham, Everton, Man City and Liverpool have time to act.

Ante Coric has so far managed 22 goals and as many assists in 133 competitive appearances for Dinamo Zagreb.
