AS Roma sporting director Monchi has moved to confirm interest in Benfica forward Talisca amidst reports linking the Brazilian with a summer move to Stadio Olimpico.
The highly rated footballer has been in scintillating form since joining the Black Eagles on loan from Benfica, catching the eye of top clubs in the process.
And even though Besiktas have the option to purchase his contract for €21 million, it appears that Talisca will be joining a bigger club in the summer.
While recent reports have linked AS Roma with a move for the Brazilian, the Giallorossi have denied such rumours, albeit admitting they are following the 24-year-old.
“It’s obvious that I consider Talisca a strong player,” sporting director Monchi told Radyospor.
“He’s an interesting and promising player, every sporting director in the world knows him and thinks he’s a good player.
“As things stand though we haven’t made a move for him.”
Having scored impressive 23 goals in 46 league outings for Besiktas, it is hardly surprising Talisca is on the radar of several top sides.
