PSV Eindhoven left-back Jetro Willems is close to leaving the Dutch side in the summer transfer window.
The 23-year-old defender is the subject of intense interest from the host of European clubs including AS Roma who appear to be the biggest favourites to sign the Dutch international.
Eintracht Freiburg and Frankfurt have both expressed interest, but Giallorossi appear to be leading the line in the race for Willems’ signature.
PSV have made an official announcement on their website stating that Jetro Willems has left the training camp for an opportunity to complete a transfer, not disclosing any further details at this point.
However, the Italian media believe that AS Roma are his most likely new destination.
The Italians are willing to pay €9 million for the player whose contract with PSV expires next summer.
