Tuttosport claims that Italian giants AS Roma are weighing up January bid for Napoli winger Emanuele Giaccherini.
Time is slowly running out on Giallorossi to sign a replacement for Mohamed Salah, and Jese Rodriguez is no longer an option as he only wants to move to Spanish La Liga.
According to Tuttosport, AS Roma sporting director Frederic Massara will attempt to bring Emanuele Giaccherini to Stadio Olimpico.
The 31-year-old has a wealth of experience of playing at the highest level and he could decide to leave Napoli after failing to start a single Serie A fixture this season.
AS Roma will attempt to find an agreement with their league rivals in the coming days as they are eager to reinforce the squad and remain on course for a top 3 finish.
Seeing that Giaccherini can be used either in midfield or on the wing, he would definitely be a welcoming addition now that the Giallorossi are short of options in the middle of the park.
