Italian newspaper Leggo is reporting that AS Roma are weighing up summer bid for Nice striker Mario Balotelli.
The highly rated forward will be out of contract in June and he seems to have decided to look for a new challenge.
And while a return to English Premier League is also an option, Mario Balotelli has several suitors in Italian Serie A.
According to Leggo, AS Roma sporting director Monchi and the striker’s agent Mino Raiola have been in constant contact, and a deal may be agreed in the coming weeks.
Balotelli’s high wage could prove to be a problem though, despite the fact that his recent performances are enough to warrant said salary.
The Italy international has so far scored 29 goals in 45 Ligue 1 outings for Nice, having joined on a free transfer from Liverpool.
