Il Corriere della Sera is reporting that AS Roma have joined the race to sign Real Madrid starlet Dani Ceballos.
The attacking midfielder has shown a great deal of potential after arriving from Real Betis, but he has largely struggled for game time at Santiago Bernabeu.
As a result, Ceballos is considering his options and there are quite a few top European clubs showing interest in his services.
While Liverpool, AC Milan and Inter Milan are also keen, Il Corriere della Sera claims that AS Roma are the latest club to have stepped up their efforts to sign the 21-year-old footballer.
Sporting director Monchi knows the player well from Spain and he will use his contacts in Madrid to try and learn more about the price of the Spain Under-21 star.
Dani Ceballos was only handed three La Liga starts this season, while making another eight substitute appearances.
