AS Roma have joined the race to sign Benfica defender Victor Lindelof, according to Leggo.
The Giallorossi are widely expected to cash in on Kostas Manolas at the end of the season and if the Greece international leaves, they plan to replace him with the Eagles hotshot.
AS Roma are ready to pay around €30 million for the highly rated footballer, but they will face stiff competition from other interested sides.
Namely, the likes of Manchester United, Inter Milan, Barcelona and few other top clubs have been showing interest in the 22-year-old centre-back.
While he was reportedly on the verge of joining Manchester United in the January window, chances are that Lindelof will be leaving Benfica for greener pastures in the summer.
His suitors AS Roma face a tough task in the Europa League knockout stages and they are priced at 15/8 to defeat Villarreal on Thursday.
