AS Roma lead chase for Aleix Vidal

Sky Sport Italia is reporting that AS Roma have emerged as favourites to sign Spanish winger Aleix Vidal from Barcelona.

The highly rated footballer is almost certain to leave Camp Nou this winter despite finally securing some playing time in recent months.

And while Atletico Madrid, Sevilla and Napoli are also keen, latest reports suggest that AS Roma lead the chase for his signature.

The Giallorossi have opened talks with Barcelona and they’ve got plenty of time to wrap things up before the transfer deadline.

Aleix Vidal, 28, joined the Catalans from Sevilla two years ago and went on to feature in 25 La Liga matches, scoring 3 goals in the process.
