Il Corriere dello Sport understands that AS Roma have emerged as frontrunners to sign Benfica midfielder Bryan Cristante.
With the player having largely impressed this season, Atalanta are set to trigger a €4 million buy-out clause, before listening to offers from top Italian sides.
According to reports, AS Roma are in pole position to sign Bryan Cristante, even though the likes of Juventus, Inter, Lazio and Premier League clubs are also keen.
The Giallorossi are ready to pay €35 million for the Italy international, which is good news for Benfica as well, seeing that the Eagles will be entitled to 15% of the transfer fee.
This will prove a very good deal for Atalanta, who are set to turn a hefty profit on the 23-year-old, as Cristante impressed to score 11 goals in 37 competitive appearances for Orobici.
