AS Roma are interested in signing Angelino from RB Leipzig in the final days of the January transfer window, according to Sky Italia. Angelino is on loan at Turkish Super Lig giants Galatasaray from Bundesliga outfit Leipzig at the moment, and Serie A club Roma want to bring him to the Stadium Olimpico for the second half of the season.
Sky Italia has reported that AS Roma have moved quickly to beat Italian rivals Torino to the signing of Angelino and have already reached an agreement with the full-back. I Giallorossi, who recently parted company with Jose Mourinho as their head coach, want to sign the 27-year-old left-back on an initial loan deal with the option to make it permanent in the summer of 2024.
Angelino joined Galatasaray from RB Leipzig on a season-long loan deal in the summer of 2023. The former Manchester City left-back has made seven starts and one substitute appearance in the Turkish Super Lig and has made five starts and one substitute appearance in the UEFA Champions League this season.
