AS Roma looking at Alex Meret

Sky Italia claims that Serie A outfit AS Roma are keeping close tabs on Udinese starlet Alex Meret.

The Giallorossi may need to find a replacement for in-demand shot-stopper Alisson, who has been linked with quite a few top clubs of late.

The Giallorossi are looking at several talented goalkeepers, with Udinese’s Alex Meret high on their wish list.

The 21-year-old largely impressed during the loan stint with SPAL, helping the newcomers avoid relegation to Serie B with 4 clean sheets in 13 appearances.

Meret is expected to be given a chance to shine at Udinese next season, but AS Roma may offer him an opportunity to move to Stadio Olimpico in the summer.
