Serie A heavyweights and this year’s Champions League semi-finalists are said to be keen on Sampdoria starlet Dennis Praet.
The 23-year-old Belgium international has emerged as a target for a number of Europe’s top sides including Juventus, Inter Milan, Everton, Southampton and Newcastle United but the latest reports coming from the Transfermarkt claim the attacking midfielder is nearing a summer switch to AS Roma.
Having spent two years in Genoa the Belgian is said to be prepared to make a next step in his career and is eyeing a move to Rome despite heavy interest from around the country and continent.
Praet made 29 Serie A appearances for Sampdoria this season. He scored his only goal of the campaign this weekend in a 4-1 win over Cagliari.
