Having sold Antonio Rudiger to Chelsea only a couple of days ago and Mohamed Salah to Liverpool a while earlier, the Serie A giants AS Roma have no intention of selling any more first team regulars.
Giallorossi have been active in the transfer market with new sporting director Monchi already bringing in a couple of high-profile names to bolster the AS Roma ranks but the club’s priority in this summer window will be to keep hold of Radja Nainggolan.
The Belgium international midfielder has gained plenty of interest from Europe’s top sides with Inter Milan, Chelsea and Manchester United leading the race for his signature.
However, with the player himself already rejecting a move to the Premier League last year, the Italian club has moved to reiterate the stance on Nainggolan by offering their star player a new and improved deal.
Sky Sport Italia report that AS Roma are keen to push away the interest from Luciano Spalletti and Inter Milan by offering their player a deal worth €5 million.
GIallorossi are confident Nainggolan will put pen to paper on a new deal but will refuse to sell the player even if agreement is no reached. AS Roma are in no need to sell a player who is under contract until June 2020.
