Il Corriere dello Sport is reporting that AS Roma have reignited their interest in Sassuolo hotshot Domenico Berardi.
It is no secret that former Neroverdi boss Eusebio Di Francesco hopes to get reunited with the winger at Stadio Olimpico, but he was unable to agree a deal last summer.
Sassuolo have since lowered their asking price from the original €50 million and the Giallorossi hope they can do a deal for €30 million.
Sporting director Monchi is currently working on the transfer, although the Neroverdi recently revealed a January exit was highly unlikely.
Domenico Berardi is also a target for Napoli and Inter Milan, and everything suggests he will be leaving Sassuolo for greener pastures at the end of the season.
