Italian giants AS Roma have reignited their interest in Schalke defender Sead Kolasinac, Il Corriere dello Sport has suggested.
The Giallorossi recently reinforced the left-back position by recruiting Lucas Digne, but since they now also lack cover for the Frenchman, the club aim to sign another left-sided defender in January.
According to Il Corriere dello Sport, AS Roma are ready to launch a fresh assault on long-term target Sead Kolasinac.
The Giallorossi had a €10 million proposal rejected for the Bosnian footballer last summer, but a lot has changed since.
Namely, Kolasinac is no longer first choice at Schalke and AS Roma believe they can sign him on loan until the end of the season, where a buy-out option would be set to €6m-€7m.
AS Roma will be looking to bounce back from the embarrassing 6-1 loss to Barcelona when they take on Atalanta on Sunday, with home win paying 1/2.
