England international goalkeeper Joe Hart will not be returning to Manchester City and is set to leave the Etihad club after a loan spell at Serie A outfit Torino.
The Citizens completed the signing of Benfica goalkeeper Ederson for £35 million this week and still have former Barcelona man Claudio Bravo and Willy Caballero as back-up options in goal.
Manchester City have determined a £20 million asking price for Joe Hart who is on a £130,000 a week deal with the English outfit, which can ultimately prove to be a huge stumbling block for any deal.
Hart has been keen to return to England and was even linked with a move to Liverpool, West Ham and Everton, but he later admitted he had enjoyed his spell in Italy and a chance to represent a club as big as AS Roma might prove to be too good to turn down.
Giallorossi are set to lose Wojciech Szczesny after a two-year loan spell from Arsenal and are looking for a replacement although they invested a great deal of money last year to recruit Brazilian goalkeeper Alisson Becker.
According to reports from Daily Mail, AS Roma are seriously considering the option to hire Joe Hart.
