AS Roma and Sevilla are among clubs showing interest in Sampdoria starlet Lucas Torreira, according to the player’s official representative.
The 21-year-old has been in fine form after joining the club from Pescara a year ago and he could soon realise a big club move.
Torreira’s agent has moved to suggest that AS Roma and Sevilla are keen on the central midfielder, who is valued at €15 million.
“I have no doubt that Torreira will be in high demand in the summer market,” agent Pablo Bentancur told Radio Sport 890.
“Today he is followed by AS Roma and Sevilla, Sampdoria chairman Massimo Ferrero values him at €15 million.”
Earning mere €120,000 per campaign, Torreira is one of the lowest paid footballers in Italian Serie A and his agents are trying to negotiate a better deal for their client.
Alternatively, they will invite interested sides to make their interest concrete in the summer transfer window.
The Uruguayan helped Pescara gain promotion to Serie A by scoring 4 goals in 29 Serie B appearances and he has so far featured in as many top flight matches for Sampdoria.
