Atletico Madrid want to sign Paulo Dybala from AS Roma in the summer transfer window, according to Fichajes. The report has claimed that former La Liga winners Atletico want to bring in a new forward at the end of the season, and Argentina international star Dybala is among the names on their list.
Dybala, who can operate as a forward or as an attacking midfielder, joined AS Roma on a free transfer in the summer of 2022 after leaving Serie A rivals Juventus at the end of last season. The 29-year-old has made 16 starts and one substitute appearance in Serie A so far this season, scoring eight goals and providing six assists in the process. Dybala, who won the 2022 Qatar World Cup with Argentine, has made four starts and one substitute appearance in the UEFA Europa League so far this campaign, scoring three goals in the process.
Atletico are fourth in the La Liga table at the moment with 42 points from 23 matches, as many as 17 points behind leaders Barcelona. Meanwhile, Roma currently find themselves fifth in the Serie A table with 44 points from 24 games, a point behind fourth-placed Lazio.
