AS Roma are interested in signing Luka Jovic from Real Madrid in the January transfer window, according to Fichajes. It has been reported that Roma head coach Jose Mourinho wants to bring Jovic to the Stadio Olimpico on loan from his former club Madrid for the rest of the season.
Jovic has recently started to play regularly for Madrid and is doing quite well for Carlo Ancelotti’s side at the moment. The 23-year-old has scored one goal and provided two assists in eight substitute appearances in La Liga so far this season. The Serbia international has also made one start and two substitute appearances in the Champions League for Madrid this campaign.
Madrid are at the top of the La Liga table at the moment with 42 points from 17 matches, while Roma are currently sixth in the Serie A standings with 28 points from 17 games.
