AS Roma are set to sign Czech forward Patrik Schick from Sampdoria, according to rivals Inter Milan.
The Giallorossi and Inter Milan both had bid accepted for the talented youngster, several weeks after his move to Juventus fell through.
However, it would appear as though Schick has now chosen AS Roma, or at least that is what the Nerazzurri chief Walter Sabatini claims.
“It’s 99 percent likely that (Schick) will dress in Giallorosso, I don’t participate in auctions,” Suning Group technical coordinator told Voce Giallorossa.
AS Roma are short of options up front after selling Mohamed Salah and Schick will definitely be a very good addition to the squad.
After bagging 11 goals in 32 league matches last term (14 starts), the 21-year-old will be hoping to continue the rich vein of form at Stadio Olimpico.
