Rennes’ general manager, Peter Dreossi has announced the club ended negotiations with Fenerbahce regarding Asampah Gyan.
After the impressive showing at the World Cup 2010, Asamoah Gyan has attracted a lot of interest from big European clubs, but it seems that he is staying at Rennes, at least for the time being.
The club general manager, Peter Dreossi said les Bretons “have broken off contacts” with Fenerbahce as they have not received a formal offer from the Turkish club.
“Gyan is at Rennes,” Dreossi said, adding that the club had not received any other offers for the Ghanian.
He didn’t rule out the possibility of Gyan leaving the club in the near future.
“It’s the truth that one day (he may go), because we cannot afford to refuse a good offer.”
