Asamoah, Lichtsteiner near Juventus exits

Tuttosport is reporting that Kwadwo Asamoah and Stephan Lichtsteiner have no long-term futures at Juventus.

The Ghanaian midfielder, who is equally adept at playing as left-back, could leave this summer as well, since his suitors Galatasaray have until Friday to sign new players.

The two clubs have, however, failed to agree on a transfer fee, meaning that Asamoah could instead move to Turkey when his contract comes to an end in June.

Stephan Lichtsteiner is also expected to leave on a free transfer at the end of the season, as he is no longer part of Max Allegri’s plans.

Gianluigi Buffon, Andrea Barzagli and Giorgio Chiellini also have deals until June 2018, but while the first two are expected to retire next summer, Chiellini will stay on for a couple more years.
