Inter Milan’s Ashley Young is keen on a return to Watford to end his career at the same club where it started, according to the Mirror.
Young came through the youth ranks at Watford and earned first team promotion in 2003. He made a total of 107 appearances in all competitions for the Hornets, scoring 22 goals and assisting further 10, before leaving for Aston Villa in 2007. Another four years later, he joined Manchester United and spent the majority of his career at Old Trafford, eventually leaving last year with one Premier League title, one FA Cup, one Carabao Cup, and one Europa League title.
Now, at the age of 35 (turning 36 in June), the versatile wide man would like to add the Serie A title with Inter to his collection, before going back to Vicarage Road to complete the cycle. His contract expires at the end of the season so there should be no issues with Inter.
