Aston Villa have one of the most important games of the season on Tuesday night, with the Villans hosting fellow strugglers Queens Park Rangers. After defeat to Manchester United, which also saw the likes of Burnley, QPR and Leicester City pick up points, Aston Villa are once again in a precarious position in the league table.

They are just two points above the drop zone with seven games still remaining, so Tuesday’s game could be very important to decide who finishes in the bottom-three come May. Queens Park Rangers are back in form following a shock away win against West Bromwich Albion, which sees them just three points shy of Villa ahead of tonight’s clash.

Despite Villa having lost their last two games, they will be confident of securing a result. Manager Tim Sherwood has earned two victories in the league with the Midlands club, and normally QPR are a side who struggle on the road.
