Aston Villa are on the verge of signing Dundee United defender Kerr Smith in the January transfer window, according to 90min. The report has claimed that Premier League club Villa have agreed a deal with Scottish side Dundee United over the transfer of the 17-year-old defender this month.
Manchester United, Everton, Liverpool, Newcastle United, Crystal Palace and Leeds United all wanted to sign Smith, but it is Steven Gerrard’s Villa who are reported to have won the race to the signature of Smith..
