Aston Villa and Crystal Palace are interested in signing Benfica winger Fabio Baptista, according to Calcio Mercato. The report in the Italian news outlet has claimed that Serie A outfit Atalanta are also monitoring the Benfica B youngster. It has been reported that the 19-year-old would be an option for the three clubs either in the January transfer window or next summer.
Baptista is a very talented and promising young winger who is starting to earn a strong reputation in Portugal. The teenager is brilliant on the ball and is a very skilful footballer.
Villa are sixth in the Premier League table at the moment with 15 points from seven matches, while Palace currently find themselves eighth in the standings with 13 points from eight games. Atalanta are sixth in Serie A with 13 points from seven matches.
