Aston Villa and Newcastle United eye Federico Chiesa

Aston Villa and Newcastle United are among the clubs who are interested in signing Federico Chiesa from Juventus in the summer transfer window, according to TuttoJuve. The report in the Italian news outlet has claimed that Bayern Munich and Napoli are also keen on securing the services of Chiesa.

TuttoJuve has noted that Juventus are willing to sell Chiesa. The former Serie A and UEFA Champions League winners are looking for at least €35 million for the 26-year-old Italy international, who can play as a winger or as a forward and won the UEFA European Championship with his national team in 2020.

Chiesa, who has had injury problems in recent seasons, made 25 starts and eight substitute appearances in Serie A for Juventus last season. He scored nine goals and gave two assists in those games. Juventus finished last season third in the Serie A table with 71 points from 38 games.
