Aston Villa and Wolves want Boubakary Soumare

Aston Villa and Wolverhampton Wanderers are interested in signing Boubakary Soumare from Lille in the summer transfer window, according to FootMercato. Everton are also keen on the 22-year-old midfielder, but it is Leicester City who are leading the race for the midfielder.

Leicester, who are having a wonderful season in the Premier League and could qualify for the Champions League, have held talks with the 22-year-old midfielder’s club and agent. The potential transfer deal is at an advanced stage.

Soumare has made 19 starts and 11 substitute appearances in Ligue 1 and made four starts and four substitute appearances in the Europa League this season. The French youngster also made four starts and four substitute appearances in the Europa League this season, providing one assist in the process. In 2019-20, the youngster made 15 starts and five substitute appearances in Ligue 1 and played six times in the Champions League.
