Aston Villa are keen on signing Chelsea forward Tammy Abraham on a season-long loan, according to the Mail Online.
The Villains are looking for reinforcements as they look to bounce back to the Premier League following last season’s Play-Off final defeat to Fulham.
However, Abraham, who spent last term on loan with Swansea City is keen to remain in the top flight if possible.
The twenty-year-old scored eight goals in thirty-nine appearances in all competitions for the Swans having spent the previous campaign at Bristol City where he was far more prolific.
He has played just twice for his parent club while internationally he has won two senior caps for England though failed to be included in Gareth Southgate’s squad for this summer’s World Cup finals in Russia.
Villa, who begin the 2018/19 campaign with a trip to Hull City on Monday evening, can be backed at 4/1 to win promotion.
