Aston Villa go after Abraham

According to a recent report from Corriere dello Sport, Aston Villa are in pole position to sign Tammy Abraham this summer.

Since signing for Roma back in 2021, Tammy Abraham has been on fire. In addition to being one of their most influential players in front of goal, he’s also been improving his game in an all-round sense.

However, you could certainly argue that this season has been more of a struggle for him than the last.

The 25-year-old made the transition over from Premier League side Chelsea but what some fans may forget is that he previously played for Aston Villa on loan. When he was with the Midlanders, he enjoyed a lot of success, to the point whereby Chelsea had to sit up and take notice of him again.

Now, Villa believe they could be the ones to lure him back to English football and give him another shot at making an impact.
