Aston Villa interested in Arsenal left-back Kieran Tierney

Aston Villa are interested in signing Kieran Tierney from Premier League rivals Arsenal in the summer transfer window, according to Football Insider. Newcastle United have already shown interest in the former Celtic left-back, and now Villa have reportedly joined the race for the Scotland international.

Tierney has made four starts and 13 substitute appearances in the Premier League for Arsenal so far this season. The 25-year-old left-back has also scored one goal in six UEFA Europa League, and has made one appearance in the Carabao Cup and has played twice in the FA Cup so far this campaign.

Villa are 11th in the Premier League table at the moment with 34 points from 25 matches. Meanwhile, Arsenal currently find themselves at the top of the standings with 63 points from 26 matches, five points clear of second-placed and defending champions Manchester City.
