Aston Villa are facing the prospect of a summer clear out following their relegation from the Premier League.
One of the players that is expected to leave Villans during the summer transfer window is the 22-year-old left-back Jordan Amavi who is a target for several European outfits.
AC Milan and French side Lyon are believed to be keen on the France international who joined Aston Villa from Nice for the fee of £10 million signing a five-year deal last summer.
Friday’s edition of French daily L’Equipe reports that Liverpool have also joined the chase for the highly rated left-back as Jurgen Klopp is looking to increase competition for places and put extra pressure on Alberto Moreno, whose performances have often been below par last season.
Aston Villa are reportedly looking to recoup their full purchase price for Jordan Amavi, but the Championship side would probably settle for less than what they paid for.
The 22-year-old left-back played only ten Premier League matches this term as his season was cut short in November with a cruciate knee ligament injury.
