Daily Mail has suggested that Aston Villa and Bayer Leverkusen are both showing interest in Arsenal defender Mathieu Debuchy.
After falling behind Hector Bellerin in the pecking order, the experienced full-back plans to leave the Emirates this month as he is desperate to make France Euro 2016 squad.
Debuchy yesterday confirmed his plans to leave the Gunners in January and it remains to be seen whether he will be staying in English Premier League.
Aston Villa sit nine points adrift of safety, meaning they need to seriously reinforce the squad if they are to have any chance of surviving the current season and they clearly want the Frenchman to help them in their quest.
Meanwhile, Bundesliga giants Bayer Leverkusen are also keen on the 30-year-old footballer, who has made mere two Premier League appearances this season.
Debuchy had made a name for himself at Lille, while he also enjoyed a successful spell with Newcastle United.
