Aston Villa are looking at appointing Paulo Fonseca as their new manager, according to The Daily Mail. It has been reported that Dean Smith is on borrowed time at Villa, who are considering former AS Roma boss Fonseca to take over.
Villa are having a bad season and have lost four games in a row. The Villans are 15th in the Premier League table at the moment with 10 points from 10 matches, just three points above the bottom three.
Fonseca is without a managerial job at the moment following his departure from Roma at the end of las season. The Portuguese was close to getting the Tottenham Hotspur role last summer and has ben linked with the vacant Newcastle managerial job.
