Aston Villa linked with Real Betis forward Luiz Henrique

Aston Villa are interested in signing Luiz Henrique from Real Betis in the summer transfer window, according to AS. The report in the Spanish publication has claimed that Premier League outfit Villa are among the most interested clubs in the forward.

Luiz Henrique has been on the books of Betis since the summer of 2022 when he joined from Fluminense. The 22-year-old has done well for the Andalucian club so far this season. The youngster has made 19 starts and 10 substitute appearances in La Liga, scoring one goal and providing three assists in the process. The Brazilian has made four starts and three substitute appearances in the UEFA Europa League, scoring two goals and providing two assists in the process.

Villa are seventh in the Premier League table at the moment with 54 points from 34 matches, while Betis are currently sixth in the La Liga standings with 49 points from 32 games.
