Aston Villa, Milner: We let the club down

Aston Villa winger James Milner admitted that they let the club down against Liverpool on Sunday but insisted they can still turn their recent poor form around.

“We must turn it around. It’s a tough game coming up but it’s down to us to turn it around and put things right,” he said in the Daily Star.

“Due to the international break, it means we have a long time with that result on our minds, we can’t put it right for two weeks. We should not be losing by that scoreline. It should never be difficult to show your character”.
