Aston Villa are interested in signing Bournemouth striker Joshua King, according to The Sun. The report in the British tabloid has claimed that Everton, Newcastle United and Fulham are also interested in the Norway international forward.
The report has added that Everton want to secure the services of the 28-year-old in the January transfer window, but the Toffees are reluctant to pay the £120,000-a-week salary that the former Manchester United prospect is looking for.
Newcastle, Villa and Fulham are monitoring the situation of the forward and are willing to wait until the end of the season before making their moves. King is out of contract at Championship club Bournemouth in the summer of 2021. According to WhoScored, King has made four starts and six substitute appearances in the Championship for Bournemouth so far this season.
