Aston Villa do not want to sell Jacob Ramsey in the January transfer window and value him at £50 million, according to The Daily Mail. The report has noted interest in Ramsey from Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United and Bayern Munich.
Ramsey has been on the books of Villa since 2007 and has come through the club’s youth system. The 22-year-old attacking midfielder has made four starts and six substitute appearances in the Premier League for the Villans so far this season, scoring one goal in the process. Ramsey has made 101 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career, scoring 13 goals and providing eight assists in the process.
Villa are fourth in the Premier League table at the moment with 43 points from 22 matches, five points behind leaders Liverpool. Unai Emery’s side are in the running for the UEFA Champions League places in the league table this season.
