Aston Villa are interested in signing Dani Ceballos from Real Madrid in the January transfer window, according to Fichajes. The report has claimed that Villa manager Unai Emery personally wants to sign the former Arsenal loanee on a loan deal in the middle of the season with the option to make the deal permanent in the summer of 2024.
Ceballos has been on the books of Madrid since 2017. The 27-year-old Spain international central midfielder has won the La Liga title once and the UEFA Champions League twice with Los Blancos so far in his career.
The 27-year-old has yet to make an appearance in La Liga or the UEFA Champions League for Carlo Ancelotti’s side so far this season. The midfielder made 19 starts and 11 substitute appearances in La Liga and made seven substitute appearances in the UEFA Champions League for Madrid last season.
