Aston Villa want to sign Lazio winger Felipe Anderson

Aston Villa are interested in signing Felipe Anderson from Lazio in the January transfer window, according to Football Transfers. The report has claimed that Villa are on the hunt for a new winger, and that former West Ham United player Anderson is among the players they are looking at.

Anderson is out of contract at Lazio at the end of the season, so the Italian club could be tempted to sell him in the January transfer window and not run the risk of losing him on a free at the end of the season. Juventus are interested in securing the services of the 30-year-old, but on a free in the summer of 2023.

Lazio are seventh in the Serie A table at the moment with 30 points from 19 matches. The Italian club are three points behind fourth-placed Fiorentina. Anderson has scored one goal and given six assists in 16 Serie A starts and has has given one assist in five UEFA Champions League starts for Lazio this season.
